The Art Kit Initiative
The Art Kit Initiative focuses on expanding access to creativity by providing designed art kits to children in underserved communities. Each kit includes essential materials and guided activities that introduce artistic expression while connecting to meaningful global themes.
Why Art Kits?
An empty sheet can be much more than just a piece of paper. Armed with some materials, a child is able to create stories, develop new ideas, and even share their emotions through drawing.
Art has been connected to positive effects such as reduced stress, improved emotional state, and higher self-esteem. It develops creativity, teaches kids how to be patient, and improves problem solving skills, allowing kids to work with what they have experienced in a constructive manner.
Nevertheless, there are many kids who do not have access to basic art supplies on a regular basis. We want to change the situation by offering special art kits that provide kids with means of expressing themselves.
We think that art should be available for everyone. Through our Art Kits Initiative, we provide kids with an opportunity to find new hobbies, gain confidence in themselves, and feel just how amazing it is to create something.
